Position Summary
Central Michigan University, an FBS member of the Mid-American Conference, is seeking applications for a Head Women's Lacrosse Coach to organize, complete scheduling, recruit student-athletes and manage all aspects of the women's lacrosse program. Position is a full-time, 12-month appointment with full benefit package. Salary is commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities of this position include: provide positive direction and leadership to maintain a successful lacrosse program; plan and administer all aspects of the program; coach; recruit; adhere to NCAA and MAC compliance policies; serve as a primary steward of fiscal responsibility through the oversight and management of complex budgets; work in close partnership with athletic communications to develop and execute public relations strategies; and be directly involved with fundraising and university development initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- Women's lacrosse coaching and recruiting experience.
- Budget management experience.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- Ability to motivate student-athletes to be successful academically and athletically.
- Possess proven integrity.
- Knowledge of and commitment to following MAC and NCAA rules and regulations.
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree.
- Division I coaching and recruiting experience.
