Job description

This position will assist the Head Coach in the organization, administration, promotion, and execution of all aspects of the Lipscomb University Men’s Soccer program. Ensure that all activities are performed in compliance with the NCAA, Sun Conference, and Lipscomb University rules and regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Coach in the organization, administration, promotion, and execution of all aspects of the Lipscomb University Men’s Soccer program.
  • Performs tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation.
  • Understanding of how to use data analysis to make recruiting / team personnel decisions.
  • Tasks are multiple and diverse with some interrelationship across processes.
  • Ability to use athletics to forward spiritual formation for staff and players.
  • Ability to work effectively with student athletes as well as colleagues and campus
    community.
  • Develop and oversee a compelling athletic program.
  • Maintain and grow a program that is competitive.
  • Effectively work within a budget.

Candidates must also possess strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, as well as a commitment to the academic, community-service oriented and spiritual mission of Lipscomb and a competitive Division 1 program. A thorough knowledge of NCAA Division I recruiting process is also required. Experience in using GameBreaker / SportsCode / WyScout / Hudl / iMovie software.  

Qualified candidates must be energetic, highly motivated and outgoing personality who is passionate about recruiting, signing, and developing college soccer student-athletes.

This a full-time, 12 month position with competitive salary and benefits.
