Ignite is seeking a Senior Help Desk Technician to provide advanced Tier I/II support and technical leadership for IT environments supporting USASMDC missions. The U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command (USASMDC) is responsible for delivering global missile defense, space operations, and strategic deterrence capabilities in support of Combatant Commands and national defense objectives. This role ensures continuity of operations in classified and operationally sensitive environments.
Job Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide Tier I/II technical support for end-user systems
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows-based hardware and software
• Support thin clients, zero clients, printers, and peripherals
• Perform hands-on troubleshooting and issue resolution
• Apply system configurations in compliance with STIG requirements
Qualifications:
• Secret clearance (required)
• Advanced DoD 8140 certification as applicable
• Experience supporting DoD IT environments
• 8+ years of experience providing Tier II/III IT support
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred)
Salary range: $80-120k
