Join us in our mission to provide Veterans with the world-class benefits and healthcare services they have earned! Veteran Health Indiana is actively seeking an excellent general Cardiologist to join our established program in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana.

Position highlights:

  • High-complexity VA Medical Center with robust resources onsite servicing central Indiana
  • Opportunity to expand the Cardiology imaging program, the ability to interpret transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) and perform transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) including intraprocedural TEE for structural heart interventions is desired
  • Monday-Friday schedule with light call
  • Access to Clinical Pharmacists onsite
  • A high-quality, patient-focused team including Nurse Practitioners
  • Advanced Cardiac center with Cath/Electrophysiology labs, Cardiac Surgery and imaging onsite
  • Cardiology fellowship program and teaching service with opportunity for academic appointment
  • Located in vibrant and affordable Indianapolis, Indiana

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO degree
  • Completion of ACGME accredited Cardiology fellowship
  • BE/BC American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) Cardiovascular Disease
  • Current full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or District of Columbia.
