Job description

Responsibilities
Noblis is hiring a Navy Surface Ship Maintenance Analyst to support Commander, Navy Regional Maintenance Center (CNRMC) in Norfolk, VA. This role is ideal for candidates with career experience in Navy surface ship maintenance or maintenance availability support who are looking to impact fleet readiness. In this role, you'll contribute directly to the planning and execution of surface ship maintenance availabilities, helping ensure ships are ready to meet operational demands worldwide.
You will be supporting the Navy Regional Maintenance Center (CNRMC), which is an Echelon III command (field activity) under Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) with a mission to deliver quality, cost-wise material readiness in support of U.S. Naval forces worldwide. CNRMC is responsible for coordinating the depot- and intermediate-level maintenance of the Navy's surface fleet, and for resourcing the requirements necessary to meet ships maintenance availability schedules.
Responsibilities
  • Support CNO availability planning and execution for Navy surface ships
  • Tracking and analyze surface ship maintenance data, including CSMP inputs and availability schedules
  • Help develop reports, metrics, and briefings for senior Navy and civilian leadership
  • Prepare materials and support maintenance planning meetings, availability reviews, and working groups
  • Manage action items, schedules, and risks related to maintenance execution
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across RMCs, shipyards, and program offices
  • Use tools like Excel, PowerPoint, and Project to organize and present data
  • Analyse findings from databases such as NMD, SMDII to develop flag level briefs

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree and 5 years of experience OR an Associate's degree and 8 years of experience OR a High school diploma, and 11 years of experience
  • Demonstrated experience with CNO availability planning and Navy surface ship maintenance and modernization.
  • Must be able to work on-site at Norfolk Naval Station.
  • US Citizen with an Active DOD Secret Clearance
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders

Desired Qualifications
  • Prior U.S. Navy experience (Active Duty or Reserve), especially:
    • Engineering, maintenance, or shipboard operations roles
  • Familiarity with:
    • CSMP (Current Ship's Maintenance Project)
    • 3M systems / SKED / OMMS-NG/NMD
    • Detailed understanding of availability planning and execution
    • Maintenance tracking, scheduling, or coordination

Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis' total compensation package.
