About Root Causes Medicine
Root Causes Medicine is a patient-centered, terrain-based medical clinic focused on identifying and restoring the underlying causes of illness. We believe medicine should be relational, precise, and restorative.
Our providers treat complex and chronic conditions through functional, integrative, and naturopathic oncology care. We are growing - and we are looking for someone who thrives in a mission-driven, high-touch clinical environment.

  • Coordinate lab testing and follow-ups
  • Communicate with pharmacies, labs, and specialty vendors

  • Anticipates needs before they are voiced
  • Is highly detail-oriented and organized
  • Can remain calm under emotional pressure
  • Enjoys helping people feel heard and supported
  • Values both systems and relationships

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfort with technology and task management systems

Must be:
  • Dependable and professional
  • Able to multitask without sacrificing detail
  • Comfortable working closely with providers
  • Comfortable supporting patients with complex or chronic illness

Work Environment
  • In-clinic role (San Antonio, TX)
  • Mission-driven team culture
  • High-touch, relational care environment
  • Fast-paced with emotional depth

Compensation & Growth
  • Competitive compensation based on experience
  • Opportunity for role growth and specialization
  • Pathways into senior clinical coordination or provider operations leadership
