The operating room is a dance of precision, trust, and seamless communication, where every member plays a vital part. As a Physician Assistant focused on surgical care, your role extends far beyond the operating room; you are a beacon of support during the healing journey, connecting with patients pre-operative through to their recovery process.
In your full-time position, you will work alongside experienced surgeons and nurturing nurses who share a common goal: to ensure every patient experiences the highest level of care. • Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, encompassing medication delivery, wound management, discharge planning, and comprehensive patient education
Qualifications
  • Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Preferred experience with clinical rotations centered on surgical practices
Certifications Required

  • Capacity to perform well under pressure, particularly in surgical settings
  • A compassionate approach with deep respect for the dignity and autonomy of each patient

  • Competitive salary alongside performance incentives
  • Comprehensive health benefits (medical, dental, vision)
  • A generous paid time off policy and support for continuing medical education
  • A collaborative team atmosphere with access to advanced equipment and resources
  • Opportunities for professional growth within an expanding healthcare organization

Your Impact on Surgical Care
As a Surgical Physician Assistant, you will blend technical know-how and compassionate care, stepping in with calm assurance when challenges arise and alleviating fears when patients face uncertainty. You are more than simply a practitioner in the OR; you serve as an integral voice of calm in the corridors, walking with families through explanations and recovery plans.
From minimally invasive techniques to complex surgical interventions, your influence will be experienced not only during procedures but also through critical post-operative care - providing insights during recovery discussions and guiding long-term healing strategies.
