Pen Bay Hospital, a 106-bed full-service hospital and proud member of MaineHealth, is seeking a full-time, day-shift hospitalist to join our experienced and collaborative team.
Pen Bay Hospital is a full-service community hospital, committed to delivering high-quality care across more than 30 specialty areas. Pen Bay has been nationally recognized for excellence in quality, safety, and patient care, including an "A" grade in the 2025 Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade and designation as a Top Rural Hospital by The Leapfrog Group.
This position offers the opportunity to practice high-quality inpatient medicine in a collaborative environment that values teamwork and work-life balance. Hospitalists at Pen Bay enjoy access to the resources of the MaineHealth system while serving patients in a close-knit, community-focused setting.
Desired Qualifications & Experience
Education/Training:
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency or fellowship program in the relevant specialty, or equivalent.
Licenses/Certifications:
• Eligible for licensure in the State of Maine.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Ability to obtain and maintain credentialing and privileges at designated hospital locations.

The annual base salary for this position is $295,000 - $303,850.
