Position: Pasta Cook
The Pasta Cook is responsible for preparing and executing high-quality pasta dishes, including handmade pasta and sauces, in accordance with the restaurant's recipes and standards. This role requires a strong understanding of pasta techniques, attention to detail, and a commitment to consistency, cleanliness, and teamwork within a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and execute pasta dishes according to the restaurant's menu and established standards
- Craft fresh pasta from scratch, including dough preparation, shaping, and proper cooking techniques
- Prepare and pair sauces appropriately to complement pasta dishes
- Inspect and verify the freshness and quality of all ingredients used
- Ensure all pasta dishes meet brand standards for flavor, presentation, and portion consistency
- Assist with menu development by suggesting new pasta dishes and improvements
- Monitor inventory levels for pasta production and communicate ordering needs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation at all times
