Eventus Legal are seeking a Police Station Accredited Representative to join a well-established and growing specialist criminal defence practice with opportunities available across Birmingham, West Midlands. This is a permanent, full-time Police Station Accredited Representative job offering a competitive salary dependent on experience and providing exposure to serious and complex criminal matters from the earliest stages of proceedings. About the Job Role

As the incoming Police Station Accredited Representative, you will play a crucial role in supporting clients during some of the most challenging and important stages of the criminal justice process. This is an opportunity to work closely with experienced criminal defence solicitors whilst gaining exposure to a wide variety of cases, including serious and complex matters. The successful Police Station Accredited Representative will become an integral part of a growing and highly respected criminal defence team operating across the Midlands and London.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Representing clients independently at police stations and providing expert support throughout the detention process
  • Providing legal advice and assistance during interviews under caution
  • Supporting clients during the early stages of criminal investigations and proceedings
  • Working closely with solicitors and colleagues on a broad range of criminal defence matters
  • Liaising with clients, investigators and other parties to ensure information is communicated effectively
  • Assisting with the progression of matters from initial attendance through to ongoing case preparation
  • Gaining exposure to serious, high-profile and complex criminal cases
About You

You will already hold Police Station Accreditation and will have experience attending police stations independently on behalf of clients. The successful candidate will be passionate about criminal defence work and comfortable operating in demanding and fast-paced environments. You should also be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Current Police Station Accreditation
  • Previous experience attending police stations independently on behalf of clients

  • Confidence using case management systems and legal technology
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage sensitive information accurately
