Bennett Union Missionary Baptist Church, a Christ-centered congregation with a rich legacy of 165 years of faithful ministry, is prayerfully seeking the man God has chosen to serve as our next Senior Pastor.

As a pillar of the Jesup community since our founding, Bennett Union Missionary Baptist Church remains committed to the preaching and teaching of God’s Holy Word, the advancement of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and the spiritual growth of God’s people.

We are seeking a devoted, Spirit-filled, Bible-believing man of God who possesses a genuine pastoral heart and a passion for leading God’s people. The candidate should demonstrate biblical leadership, integrity, and a vision for growing disciples while strengthening the church’s impact within the community.

The Senior Pastor will:

  • Provide spiritual leadership and general oversight of the church, its ministries, and all church functions.
  • Faithfully preach and teach the Word of God in accordance with the Holy Scriptures.
  • Lead the congregation in fulfilling the Great Commission through evangelism, discipleship, and outreach.
  • Shepherd the congregation through prayer, pastoral care, counseling, and visitation.
  • Work collaboratively with church leadership, ministries, and auxiliaries to fulfill the mission and vision of the church.
  • Encourage spiritual growth, unity, stewardship, and Christian service among the membership.
  • Provide visionary leadership that promotes church growth while honoring our rich heritage and Baptist doctrine.
  • Qualified candidates should be committed to living a Christ-centered life and demonstrate strong biblical knowledge, effective communication, sound leadership, and a heart for serving God’s people.
