As a prime contract holder of the NASA SEWP (Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement) vehicle, we help federal clients acquire mission-critical technology quickly, compliantly, and at the best value.

KriaaNet is a woman-owned, 8(a), HUBZone, ISO 9001:2015, DCAA-certified, and Secret-cleared Small Business holding key federal contracts including GSA 8(a) STARS III, Air Force BIM, FAA eFast, NOAA NMITS, Seaport NxG, and GSA Schedule 70.

Position Summary

We are seeking a results-oriented, detail-driven Inside Sales Representative to join our Federal Sales team in the Washington, DC metro area. In this role, you will own the end-to-end quote-to-order lifecycle for our NASA SEWP contract vehicle. You will be responsible for responding to federal agency requests, generating accurate and compliant quotes, negotiating competitive pricing with OEMs and distributors, and managing task orders to closure. This is a high-impact, fast-paced role ideal for a professional with experience in federal IT procurement, government contract vehicles, and supplier relations.

Key Responsibilities

Quote Management & RFQ Response: Respond promptly to federal customer quote requests received through the SEWP Quote Request Tool (QRT), direct emails, and agency outreach, ensuring all deadlines and response windows are met.

Pricing & Configuration: Develop accurate, compliant quotes utilizing the NASA SEWP catalog, ensuring correct manufacturer part numbers, appropriate margins, and required SEWP surcharges.

Vendor & OEM Collaboration: Partner with major IT distributors (e.g., TD SYNNEX, Ingram Micro, Carahsoft, Arrow) and OEMs to secure competitive pricing, deal registrations, and special/bid pricing.

Order Lifecycle Management: Coordinate the complete lifecycle from quotation and purchase order processing to shipment tracking, delivery confirmation, and invoicing in alignment with our finance and operations teams.

Catalog Maintenance: Maintain and optimize KriaaNet s SEWP catalog by preparing and submitting Contract Line Item (CLIN) additions, updates, and modifications.

Contract Compliance: Ensure all quoting and sales transactions comply with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), the Trade Agreements Act (TAA), NASA SEWP contract terms, and company policies.

Relationship Building: Establish and cultivate relationships with federal agency buyers, contracting officers (COs), program managers, and OEM channel managers.

Pipeline Tracking: Maintain accurate pipeline, quote logs, and activity records in our CRM; regularly report on progress against monthly and quarterly sales/margin targets.

Required Qualifications

Experience: 2 5 years of inside sales, federal quoting, or account management experience, preferably working within a federal Value-Added Reseller (VAR) or distributor environment.

Contract Vehicle Knowledge: Working knowledge of the federal procurement lifecycle and government-wide acquisition contracts (GWACs), with direct experience in NASA SEWP strongly preferred. (Experience with GSA Schedules, NIH CIO-CS, or CHESS is also highly valued).

Technical Quoting & Sourcing: Proven ability to build accurate bills of materials (BOMs), request vendor pricing, calculate margins, and manage complex IT product configurations.

Tools & Technology: Proficient with CRM platforms (such as HubSpot or Salesforce), MS Office (particularly Excel), and distributor procurement portals.

Communication & Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on responsiveness, attention to detail, and a high level of customer service.

Multi-tasking: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple active quotes and client requests simultaneously under tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

Hands-on experience with the NASA SEWP Quote Request Tool (QRT) and catalog/CLIN submission processes.

Understanding of federal small business socio-economic set-asides (8(a), HUBZone, WOSB, SDVOSB) and how to leverage them in the sales process.

Existing relationships with federal IT procurement teams, end-users, or OEM channel sales representatives.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

What Success Looks Like (First 6 Months)

First 30 Days: Complete onboarding, gain full familiarity with KriaaNet's SEWP processes, catalog structures, and OEM/distributor contacts, and begin handling basic quote requests.

First 90 Days: Independently manage and turn around compliant SEWP quotes, build solid distributor rapport, and actively track opportunities in the pipeline.

First 180 Days: Consistent execution of quote responses with a high conversion rate, maintaining a clean pipeline, and contributing to KriaaNet's overall federal revenue growth.

Benefits & Compensation

Competitive base salary commensurate with experience.

Performance-driven commission structure / quarterly quota bonus plan.

Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.

401(k) retirement plan with company match.

Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid federal holidays.

Professional development, training, and certification opportunities.
