Reporting to theSenior Content Design Manager for Supply and Membership, you will define content direction for Loyalty and connected Membership spaces with accountability for product outcomes, not just deliverables.

  • Have deep experience improvingLoyalty journeysacross complex, multi-surface product experiences

  • Build messaging frameworks, routing matrices, and pattern guidancethat scale consistency, trust, and clarity

  • Balance traveler and business needs, partnering with Product Managers and stakeholders to align content with roadmap and strategy

  • Design experiences that are helpful, human, and inclusive - andraise content qualitywithin your squad and across XD

  • Communicate with confidence:facilitate productive discourse, cultivate feedback, and drive alignment across disciplines

In this role, you will:

Operate as an expert content practitioner who leads by example, takes a holistic view of the experience, and owns work from strategy through delivery.

Strategy & system

  • Drive alignment on content vision and narrative for Loyalty and Membership

  • Guide roadmap decisions with user-centric insights that connect customer needs to business goals

  • Evolve a cohesive content strategy across product areas, accounting for accessibility and global readiness

  • Design intuitive, accessible content for onboarding, transactional flows, notifications, and more

  • Apply IA methods and content systems to deliver scalable solutions within our design system

Research & analysis

  • Synthesize qualitative, quantitative, and business data into actionable content insights

  • Design and run content tests with Research and Product partners; use findings to improve metrics

Collaboration & influence

  • Influence, persuade, and negotiate with stakeholders in Marketing, Brand, and Legalto achieve messaging cohesion across channels and touchpoints

  • Partner with Engineering, Localization, and Accessibility teams to deliver inclusive, readable, translatable content

  • Foster continuous improvement within XD and partner teams


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related technical field; or equivalent related professional experience in core skills such as UX Writing, content audits and analysis, content mapping and modeling, information architecture, content planning and sourcing, conversational design, and storytelling (this is not a content marketing role)

  • 5+ years of experience as a Content Designer, UX writer, or Content Strategist

  • Strong skills in presenting compelling rationale and narratives behind content strategies and decisions to peers, partners, and key stakeholders - such as Legal, Marketing, Security, Product, and top leadership

  • Expertise in persuasion and negotiation with stakeholders to create optimal experiences that balance both traveler needs and business objectives

  • Experience applying human-centered design (HCD) practices to product experiences


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience taking a thoughtful, empathetic, and inclusive approach to design that meets every user where they are

  • Experience in solving complicated content problems for multiple user segments and can develop content solutions across brands.

  • Maintain a portfolio of work that showcases your skills as a design thinker and honed UX writer. We are particularly interested in examples of how your influence enhances cross-functional thinking to drive retention in Loyalty and Membership areas.

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $137,500.00 to $192,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $220,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.The total cash range for this position in Chicago is $128,000.00 to $179,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $205,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.The total cash range for this position in Austin is $137,500.00 to $192,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $220,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.The total cash range for this position in San Francisco is $149,000.00 to $208,500.00.
