Overview

NaphCare is hiring a Lead Psychology Associate to join our team of medical professionals in the Arizona Department of Corrections in Winslow, Arizona.

Pay rates range from $36.00 to $64.00 per hour based on shift, site needs, hire status, and experience.

Full Time and Part Time positions may be available! 

As a Correctional Lead Psychology Associate, you will provide psychological treatment and support to the facility residents while working alongside correctional officers and other medical professionals. This is a unique position where you can make a difference to this diverse population of patients with complex mental health needs.

Responsibilities

The Lead Psychology Associate is responsible for providing high-level clinical support, conducting complex assessments (ADHD, neuropsychological), delivering evidence-based therapy, and assisting with treatment planning under supervision. Additional responsibilities may include and not be limited to:

  • Conduct diagnostic interviews, administer and interpret psychological testing, and provide individual or group counseling.
  • Lead clinical teams, provide guidance to junior staff, and assist with program development.
  • Collaborate with licensed psychologists to develop, implement, and document, measurable patient treatment plans.
  • Maintain confidential records, meet billable hour targets, and ensure compliance with ethical guidelines.
  • Coordinate care with external providers, schools, and community resources.
Qualifications

Experience / Requirements / Qualifications / Skills

  • Must hold a current, unrestricted Psychology license in the STATE
  • Be able to obtain BLS CPR Certification (AHA preferred)
  • Experience with underserved and marginalized populations, including those with mental health and substance use disorders
  • Strong communication skills and ability to communicate with diverse individuals, including other medical professionals, correctional staff and judges
  • Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards
  • Able to work independently and in a team
  • Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information and integrity, professionalism and ability to adhere to a Code of Conduct and comply with all facility(s) correctional healthcare policies, procedures, and legal requirements
  • Must pass the facility's criminal background check and drug screening
