Description:
  • Supports lead teachers by supervising children, implementing daily activities, and managing classroom hygiene. Key duties include assisting with lesson plans, monitoring safety on playgrounds, facilitating meal/nap times, and helping with bathroom needs. They ensure a nurturing environment, foster social-emotional development, and maintain consistent communication with staff and parents 
  • Assist teachers with implementing curriculum, setting up learning materials, leading small group activities, and preparing classroom decorations.
  • Actively monitor children during playtime, snack time, and nap time to ensure a safe, clean, and orderly environment.
  • Assist with toileting, diapering, handwashing, and feeding routines.
  • Apply positive behavior management techniques, help children manage emotions, and teach social skills.
  • Report child development progress or incidents to the lead teacher and assist in communicating with parents. 
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with young children is preferred
  • A high school diploma is standard
  • Ability to interact with children on their level, including kneeling amd sitting on the floor
  • Patient, Creative, and the ability to work well within a team
