The Manager, Change Management Office (CMO) is a key leadership role responsible for planning, leading, and embedding organizational change initiatives across the enterprise. Working within the Change Management Office, this individual will partner with business units, project teams, and senior leaders to ensure that change is delivered in a structured, people-centered way - minimizing disruption and maximizing adoption.

In this role, the Manager, Change Management Office works in close partnership with the Transformation Management Office (TMO) to ensure change management is fully integrated into enterprise delivery disciplines. The role also contributes to the evolution and operationalization of NAIT's enterprise operating model, ensuring that changes to structure, process, capability, and ways of working are embedded consistently across the organization.

This role offers a high degree of visibility and influence, contributing directly to the organization's strategic transformation agenda.

Key Responsibilities:

Change Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and execute integrated change management strategies aligned with enterprise transformation priorities and the organization's operating model.

  • Partner with theTMOto embed change management activities into standard project and program delivery lifecycles.

  • Ensure change impacts to governance, decision rights, roles, processes, and capabilities areidentified, sequenced, and managed coherently across initiatives.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communications

  • Build trusted relationships with senior leaders, project sponsors, and frontline managers to champion change.

  • Design and deliver targeted communication plans that address the needs of diverse stakeholder groups.

  • Facilitate executive briefings, town halls, and workshops to build awareness and buy-in for change initiatives.

Enterprise Transformation & Operating Model Integration

  • Act as a strategic partner to theTMOto ensure people, process, and capability change is integrated into enterprise transformation initiatives.

  • Contribute change managementexpertisetosupport alignment ofinitiativestoNAIT's enterpriseoperating model, including ways of working, governance forums, and accountability structures.

  • Support enterprise-level change prioritization and sequencing byidentifyingcumulative change impacts and organizational capacity constraints.

  • Establish andmaintainshared tools, standards, and ways of working between the CMO,TMO, andbroader department ofTransformation.

Integration Across Disciplines

  • Integrate change management within enterprise transformation project delivery, businessanalysis,risk management, and business continuity.

  • Collaborate with sustainability, HR, andotherteams to ensure cohesiveexecution oftransformation efforts.

  • Ensure change initiatives consider operational resilience and long-term organizational health.

Training & Capability Development

  • Identifylearning needs arising from change initiatives and work withLearning and Developmentpartners to design effective training solutions.

  • Develop and deliver role-specific enablement materials including guides, toolkits, FAQs, and e-learning content.

  • Build change management capability across the organization through coaching and knowledge transfer.

Project Leadership & Governance

  • Manage multiple concurrent change workstreams in coordination withTMO-led project and program plans.

  • Contribute to enterprise governance forums by providing insight on change readiness, adoption risk, and benefits realization.

  • Align change metrics and reporting with enterprise transformation and operating model performance indicators.

  • Support continuous improvement of enterprise delivery frameworks by integrating change management best practices into transformationdelivery and coordinationstandards.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and develop a small team of change analysts and/or advisors.

  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance team culture within the CMO.

  • Provide mentorship and career development support to direct reports.

Measurement & Insights

  • Define and track KPIs related to change adoption, engagement, and effectiveness.

  • Use data and feedback loops to continuously improve change approaches.

  • Provide reporting and insights to senior leadership on change performance and risks.

Qualifications

  • 5-8 years of progressive experience in change management, organizationaltransformation, or a related field.

  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, Communications, or a related discipline.

  • Experience working in a formal Change Management Office or Centre of Excellence.

  • Demonstrated experience leading change on large-scale, complex transformations,portfolioand/or program-orientedenterprise-wideinitiatives(e.g., technology implementations, restructures, mergers).

  • Experience managing and developing direct reports or project teams.

  • Certification in a recognized change managementmethodology(Prosci/ADKAR, CCMP, or equivalent).

Preferred

  • Experience working alongside Project Management Offices (PMOs), Transformation Offices, or in organizations with established enterprise operating models.

  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).

  • Experience with change management platforms and tools (e.g.,WalkMe,Whatfix,ProsciHub).

  • Exposure to HR transformation, ERP implementations (SAP, Oracle, Workday), or digital transformation programs.

The compensation range for this job posting is : $102,224.98 - $135,432.18
