About the Role:
As a Registered Nurse in the United States, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care across diverse healthcare settings. Your primary objective will be to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to promote patient health and recovery. Minimum Qualifications:
  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado
  • Completion of an accredited nursing program (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Demonstrated experience in direct patient care and medical/surgical nursing.
  • Strong knowledge of patient safety protocols and infection control standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
  • Advanced certifications such as Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (CMSRN) or Pediatric Nursing Certification.
  • Experience with telemetry monitoring and cardiac care units.
  • Previous work experience as a Nurse Practitioner or in a similar advanced nursing role.
  • Training or certification in wound care management.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care by assessing patient conditions, administering medications, and monitoring vital signs.
  • Educate patients and their families on health management, treatment plans, and preventive care strategies.
  • Perform wound care management, including dressing changes and infection prevention techniques.
  • Monitor patients using telemetry equipment to detect cardiac and respiratory irregularities.
  • Advocate for patient rights and needs within the healthcare team to ensure optimal care delivery.
  • Deliver nursing care in medical and surgical units, adapting to the specific needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with nurse practitioners and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care plans.
  • Provide specialized nursing care to pediatric patients, addressing their unique developmental and health requirements.
