Job description

Patching and updating Linux distributions regarding security findings. -Adding / Removing users and setting permissions to meet certain user privileges.System monitoring for health and status with monitoring tools like NAGIOS. -Working with STIGs and fixing/updating vulnerabilities with STE/STN findings. -Renew Linux server certificates and applying updates to TLS security versions. -Experience working with ISSOs during SCA (security control assessment) testing to go through over 400 SCTM (security controls traceability matrix). -Working with automation software such as ANSIBLE to streamline updates and patching. -Updating documentation such as SOPs with problems and solutions for the team’s knowledge base on Confluence. -Experience working with VMWARE is helpful.
