Job Description
You'll help oversee fund budgets, monitor expenses, and support the preparation and review of shareholder financial statements. This position also offers the opportunity to work closely with regulatory and compliance requirements, including SEC and GAAP standards, while contributing to the accuracy and integrity of portfolio compliance reporting. Job Description:
  • Supports the day-to-day financial and compliance operations of a mutual fund, exchange-traded fund, closed-end fund and/or business development company client.
  • Responsible for primary contact with fund clients including coordination of activities and communications of fund operations and service providers such as investment advisor, custodian, transfer agent, fund accountant, attorneys and auditors.
  • Duties may include monitoring and/or reviewing a fund budget based on contractual agreements, fee proposals and expense activity trends.
  • Help prepare and/or review financial statements for client shareholders and test/review portfolio compliance with SEC, GAAP and regulatory reporting requirements.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience
  • One to two years of related work experience

Preferred Skills/Experience:
  • Some knowledge and understanding of legal, regulatory and accounting principles which directly affect the mutual fund industry and their clients
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

Pay Range: $60,435.00 - $71,100.00
