Job description

Have a love for music? We are looking for musicians to share their musical talents to hospice patients and their families. By providing beautiful moments of music, you can help create high levels of comfort, tranquility and much more? Music is an incredible tool that can help meet a patients emotional and spiritual needs!

The philosophy of hospice care is to provide comfort and the highest quality of life that one can achieve at the end of life. Through our interdisciplinary team we help patients and families walk through their journey.

As a volunteer, you can choose between many opportunities: the gift of companionship, emotional support to the patient and family, respite for the caregiver, listening to or playing music, reading, brining a trained and certified therapy pet for comfort, assist in office/administrative tasks or help facilitate birthday celebrations for our patients.

Volunteers are trained in their role with patients. We are required to conduct background checks, TB test, at no charge to volunteers.
