Job Title: Director, Streaming – Rock/Alternative & Country

Overview

The Warner Records Streaming Strategy & Revenue Department oversees all streaming, digital, and revenue initiatives for the label’s artists. The Director, Streaming – Rock/Alternative & Country develops and implements streaming‑focused strategies across the entire portfolio of Rock, Alternative, Indie, Singer/Songwriter, and Country artists, ensuring alignment with company revenue goals and artist promotion.

Responsibilities
  • Drive Rock & Country genre revenue by maximizing streaming and marketing opportunities across sub‑genres.
  • Optimize streaming & playlists through effective profile optimization and playlisting best practices to boost artist awareness and performance.
  • Coordinate release strategy & timing: work with artists, managers, A&R, and internal teams to plan single and album release configurations and timelines.
  • Execute marketing campaigns: partner with internal marketing teams and digital streaming platforms to build and launch impactful initiatives.
  • Manage partner relations: serve as the primary point of contact for key streaming accounts, pitch releases, and develop strong business partnerships.
  • Utilize data analytics: collaborate with research and analysis teams to translate consumption trends into actionable streaming strategies.
  • Monitor industry trends: stay current with consumer demand, economic indicators, and competitor releases within the evolving streaming landscape.
  • Support business development: work on new account deal structures, ensure compliance with contract obligations, and present upcoming releases at industry conferences.
Qualifications
  • 3‑5 years of experience in label sales/commercial teams, digital partners, or a related digital content industry.
  • Proven music streaming experience with quantifiable results.
  • Established relationships within the music streaming community.
  • Ability to manage and supervise projects, driving strategic initiatives to completion.
  • Strong organizational and project‑management skills.
  • In‑depth familiarity with major streaming services and social media networks.
  • Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with creative and business partners.
  • Position requires a minimum of 4 days per week in the office.

Benefits & Compensation
