UNC Health Medical Group is recruiting full-time OB Hospitalist at UNC Rex in Raleigh and UNC Health Johnston in Smithfield. These opportunities are in North Carolina's Triangle region, one of the most desirable locations in the United States.

1. Smithfield, NC: UNC Health Johnston

Position Highlights

* New OB Hospitalist program with opportunity to participate in program development

* Dedicated OB Hospitalist model - no outpatient clinic

* Level II NICU at UNC Health Johnston - Smithfield

* Strong, established referral base with consistent clinical volume

* Provide 24/7 in-house OB Hospitalist coverage

* Manage obstetric triage, labor, delivery, and postpartum care

* Provide GYN care for cases presenting through the Emergency Department

* (7) 24hr shifts per month

* Prior OB Hospitalist experience required

* Shifts consist of (2) providers: 1 MD/DO and 1 CNM to support service

* Da Vinci robotics available at UNC Rex (Raleigh) Hospital

* 21 Bed Level 4 NICU by North Carolina standards, Level 3 NICU by American Academy of Pediatrics

* NICU is 27 weeks and up

* 24/7 Neonatology - Neonatologists onsite during the day and on call at night. NNP in house 24/7

* Collaborative and collegial team welcoming experienced and new providers

* Multiple accolades including recognition by US News and World Report as a Best Maternity Hospital and for our black maternal outcomes in North Carolina
