G&A Solutions Engineering (GSE) is IS&T's dedicated technology partner for Apple's general and administrative functions - including people, finance, facilities, legal, and security. The team builds and delivers integrated technology solutions that keep these functions running efficiently and securely at global scale. GSE also works closely with business teams to develop custom tools that improve productivity and bring greater automation and consistency to G&A operations across Apple.

Description
As a virtue of being part of this team you would be exposed to a variety of challenges supporting and building highly available systems, working closely with U.S. and India based teams and have the opportunity to expand the capabilities the team has to offer to the wider organization.
Minimum Qualifications
4+ years of experience in DevOps, systems engineering, build/release/deployment automation, etc.
Experience creating and implementing CI/CD pipeline with tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, Ansible, or Spinnaker toolset
Experience implementing applications in private/public cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP) and container technologies, like Kubernetes or Docker in production environments
Ability to program in a high-level programming languages or scripting, such Java, Python, Shell, or Golang
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or work related experience
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with integrating GenAI or MCP driven tools into DevOps workflows (intelligent code assistance, anomaly detection, automated tests/builds) or components that tackle internal use-cases
Self-driven and motivated with proven ability to learn new technologies and share DevOps best practices
Working experience with LLMs that tackle real-time problems when debugging or auto-remediating production incidents without manual interventions is a plus
Experience with AWS services including VPC, IAM, EC2, EKS, CloudWatch, S3, RDS, Route53. Experience in similar services for GCP is preferred
Experience with logging infrastructure and using tools like OpenTelemetry, Splunk, Logstash, or Kibana and networking load balancers such as Ngnix, HAProxy
Experience with Kafka, VectorDB, RDMBS and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra and Oracle)
