Role: Project Manager

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of complex technology projects within the logistics and transportation domain. The role will manage cross-functional engineering teams working across cloud platforms, enterprise applications, APIs, microservices, web applications, and mobile solutions.
The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in project management, Agile and Kanban delivery, stakeholder management, risk and dependency management, and team coordination. The candidate should also possess sufficient technical understanding to engage effectively with teams working on AWS, Java, microservices, Kong API Gateway, React, Flutter, and mobile application ecosystems

Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end delivery of logistics technology projects from planning and estimation through execution, release, and closure.
Define project scope, milestones, schedules, resource plans, delivery approach, and success criteria.
Manage project timelines, budgets, risks, issues, dependencies, and delivery commitments.
Coordinate backend, API, web, mobile, platform, QA, and DevOps teams working across:
o AWS cloud environments
o Java-based enterprise applications
o Microservices architecture
o Kong API Gateway
o React-based web applications
o Flutter-based mobile applications
Support delivery of logistics solutions covering shipment execution, transportation visibility, carrier workflows, tracking, exception management, and operational processes.
Participate in technical and architectural discussions to understand integration dependencies, delivery risks, security requirements, and release impacts.
Drive effective Agile, Scrum, and Kanban practices, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, retrospectives, and delivery tracking.
Manage project execution through Jira, including backlog tracking, dependency management, dashboards, release status, and project reporting.
Partner with product owners, architects, engineering leads, QA, DevOps, UX, security, and business stakeholders to maintain delivery alignment.
Manage stakeholder expectations through clear status communication, risk escalation, decision tracking, and governance reviews.
Identify blockers and cross-team dependencies early and drive timely resolution.
Track project performance using metrics such as milestone adherence, velocity, cycle time, defect trends, release readiness, and dependency ageing.
Coordinate integrated releases across backend services, APIs, web applications, and mobile applications.
Ensure adherence to engineering governance, quality standards, security controls, and production-readiness expectations.
Drive continuous improvement in delivery practices, team collaboration, and stakeholder engagement.
Required Skills
Strong experience managing enterprise technology projects in the logistics, transportation, or supply-chain domain.
Proven experience managing cross-functional Agile engineering teams.
Strong knowledge of project management, Agile, Scrum, and Kanban delivery practices.
Advanced working experience with Jira for project planning, backlog management, reporting, and governance.
Strong stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and escalation-management skills.
Experience managing scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, issues, and dependencies.
Good technical understanding of AWS, Java, microservices, REST APIs, and Kong API Gateway.
Understanding of web and mobile application delivery using React and Flutter.
Ability to engage in technical discussions with architects, engineering leads, API teams, mobile teams, DevOps, QA, and security stakeholders.
Experience coordinating releases across backend, web, and mobile application teams.
Strong team leadership, conflict resolution, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Experience preparing governance reports, delivery dashboards, and project health updates.
Good to Have
Experience delivering Transportation Management Systems, shipment visibility, carrier management, yard management, or logistics SaaS platforms.
Exposure to mobile application release management and app-store deployment processes.
Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, containerization, ECS, and cloud-native deployment practices.
Experience managing application modernization, cloud migration, or API platform transformation projects.
Relevant certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe, Scrum, or Kanban certification.
