Activity Therapist

Inspire Healing Through Creative and Meaningful Engagement!

We are seeking a compassionate and innovative Activity Therapist to join our interdisciplinary care team. In this role, you will use therapeutic recreation, art, music, and other expressive modalities to support individuals in improving emotional well-being, social connection, cognitive functioning, and overall quality of life. This position is located at our Deaconess Cross Pointe Hospital, in Evansville, IN.

Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Therapeutic Recreation, Art Therapy, Music Therapy or related field, with certification Required
  • Master's degree in related field Preferred

Experience Qualifications

  • Experience in working with psychiatric patients through internships or work experience Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

  • Therapeutic Recreation, Art Therapy, Music Therapy or related field Preferred

Shift: Monday-Friday 8a-4p

Hours: 36 per week
