JOB OVERVIEW:
THEโ€ข TEAM is looking for an ambitious and driven Social Media Manager to lead strategy and storytelling for its Music Division's (MUSICโ€ข TEAM) social media account (@the.team.music). This role will oversee social channels that highlight the MUSICโ€ข TEAM's artists, employees, awards partnerships, cross-disciplinary work across the company and more. If you're passionate about live music and building a dedicated community in the music talent space, this is a strong opportunity to make an impact.
These channels represent a key area of the business, so you'll be expected to quickly build a deep understanding of the Music Division's brand, artists, stakeholders and partners. You'll develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, contribute to team culture and execute thoughtful, compelling content strategies that connect with audiences and communities across existing and emerging platforms.
The ideal candidate is both strategically minded and highly hands-on creatively - comfortable not only developing content ideas and editorial direction, but also capturing, editing and producing social-first content in real time across events, shoots, talent moments and company initiatives.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Lead day-to-day management and execution across MUSICโ€ข TEAM's primary corporate social channels, with a focus on Instagram and emerging video-dominant platforms.
  • Develop and execute social-first content strategies that reflect MUSICโ€ข TEAM's global brand positioning, voice and broader marketing priorities.
  • Build proactive content calendars aligned with MUSICโ€ข TEAM's initiatives, artist moments, campaigns, global priorities and cultural conversations across North America, EMEA and APAC.
  • Translate artist and employee stories, cultural moments and brand initiatives into engaging, social-first storytelling (short-form video, carousels, Stories and real-time content).
  • Capture, edit and produce social-first content across live events, productions, launches, shoots, awards and other MUSICโ€ข TEAM's initiatives.
  • Manage content development, copywriting, publishing, community engagement and platform maintenance.
  • Collaborate with creative, communications and marketing teams to develop high-quality social content and original storytelling formats.
  • Support the development of recurring content series and editorial frameworks that create consistency and audience familiarity across platforms.
  • Identify trends, conversations and emerging platform behaviors across global markets to inform content opportunities and audience engagement strategies.
  • Maintain a strong editorial point of view and ensure content reflects platform best practices and audience expectations from creative brief development to drafting final caption copy.
  • Support performance tracking and reporting across MUSICโ€ข TEAM''s primary brand channels, helping identify actionable insights and optimization opportunities.
  • Produce visually compelling, insight-led content while identifying trends and moments to capture new followers, prospective artists and increase reach.
  • Balance artist expectations and stakeholder needs with overarching brand goals, direction and guidelines.
  • Assist in maintaining social standards, workflows and platform best practices across THEโ€ข TEAM's broader global social ecosystem.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
  • 2+ years of agency-side, brand or publisher social media experience managing major social accounts.
  • Strong understanding of platform-native storytelling and evolving social media best practices across Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Facebook, YouTube and TikTok.
  • Excellent editorial instincts with strong copywriting, communication and storytelling abilities.
  • Strong understanding of internet culture, audience behavior and emerging content trends across global markets.
  • Experience developing and executing content strategies across multiple social platforms.
  • Strong content capture, editing and production capabilities across short-form social content.
  • Comfortable shooting content in fast-paced, live environments across events, artist moments, shoots and activations.
  • Proficiency in social editing tools including CapCut, Edits, Premiere Pro or similar platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and project-management skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with social analytics and publishing platforms such as Sprinklr, Brandwatch or similar tools preferred.
  • High standard of excellence and flexibility to work nontraditional hours around live moments, campaigns and events when needed.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite, Keynote, Slack and Box.
  • An insatiable passion for and extensive knowledge of music, live events and social media culture.

Base salary range: $70-80K, plus bonus potential if applicable for role.
Actual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited to; market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training (education), level of responsibility, budgetary considerations, tenure at the company (for current employees), etc. The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Compensation decisions are dependent on circumstances of each role.
