Speech Language Pathologist
Up to $45-50/hour | Columbus, GA | Full-Time Hours | 2026-2027 School Year | Full-time contract position supporting students with speech and language needs by evaluating skills, providing therapy, monitoring progress, and collaborating with teams to support student outcomes.

About the Role
Hello, Speech Language Pathologists! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time Speech Language Pathologist for a school setting in Muscogee County School District. In this role, you'll play a critical part in student success by administering evaluations, developing and implementing therapy plans, providing speech and language services, monitoring progress, and collaborating with teams to support student outcomes.

What You'll Do
  • Provide speech and language evaluations and therapy services to assigned students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student needs and IEP goals
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation and data
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student communication and learning
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to service recommendations
  • Maintain compliant and confidential student records in accordance with regulations
  • Support a range of student communication needs across school settings
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support student success
What We're Looking For
  • Valid Georgia Teacher certification
  • Master's Degree from a Professional Standards Commission approved accredited college or university in Speech Language Therapy
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • School-based experience preferred, not required
