What You Will Contribute to OHM Advisors 

OHM Advisors is seeking a Project Manager to support and lead the delivery of site development and municipal infrastructure projects in our Huntsville and Mobile offices. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects that support the continued growth and development of communities across Alabama and the Gulf Coast region.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and experienced civil engineering staff across OHM Advisors while playing a key role in project delivery, technical leadership, and mentorship of emerging engineers. This position offers strong opportunity for continued professional growth while contributing to impactful infrastructure and development projects across our Alabama markets.

Your Responsibilities 

  • Manage civil engineering projects from planning and design through construction.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for clients, ensuring successful project delivery and strong client relationships.
  • Lead project teams, including engineers and technical staff across multiple OHM Advisors offices.
  • Oversee project scope, schedule, and budget to ensure successful and efficient delivery.
  • Serve as Engineer of Record when applicable and ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and permitting requirements.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineers within the St. Petersburg office.
  • Support proposal development, client engagement, and continued growth of civil engineering services in the region.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, supportive environment focused on technical excellence and long-term growth.

Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Alabama required.
  • 10+ years of civil engineering experience, with a focus on site development and/or municipal infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated experience managing engineering projects and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong client communication and relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and familiarity with Alabama permitting processes.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Interest in contributing to the continued growth of OHM Advisors’ presence in Huntsville, Mobile, and surrounding regions.
