Job description

Overview Multistack, the originator of modular chillers, is recognized worldwide for delivering reliable and energy-efficient HVAC solutions. Our modular platforms support a wide range of facilities including commercial campuses and mission-critical government operations. This position is dedicated exclusively to supporting U.S.

embassies and U.S. government facilities overseas (OCONUS). We provide startup, maintenance, troubleshooting, and training to ensure critical operations remain online.

Position Summary We are seeking a highly experienced Overseas HVAC Service Technician to join our Worldwide Service Team. This role requires more than 10 years of HVAC experience, strong chiller and refrigerant system expertise, and an active Secret-level security clearance or higher. You will travel internationally to support U.S.

government facilities with assignments that typically last one to two weeks, with longer trips occasionally required. This is a salaried position and per diem is provided in addition to base pay. Responsibilities Perform startup, service, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting of Multistack chiller systems at U.S.

government facilities overseas Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant systems using gauges, meters, and other diagnostic tools Work with Building Automation System (BAS) technicians to ensure system integration Provide training and support to local staff and contractors on system operation and maintenance Read and interpret wiring and piping diagrams, schematics, and sequences of operation Write concise trip reports documenting work performed and findings Maintain professional, safe, and organized work practices in all environments Travel OCONUS 60 to 75 percent annually in support of U.S. missions with typical trips of one to two weeks and longer trips as needed Required Qualifications U.S. citizenship with a valid U.S.

passport Active Secret-level security clearance or higher Minimum of 10 years HVAC experience, preferably with commercial chiller systems EPA Section 608 Refrigerant Certification (must provide card) Knowledge of constant flow and variable flow chiller systems Skilled in diagnosing and repairing refrigerant systems with gauges and tools Ability to read and interpret wiring and piping diagrams Ability to work independently with little to no supervision Strong customer focus and professionalism in sensitive, mission-critical environments Preferred Qualifications Experience with Multistack systems including Air-Cooled Modular Chillers, DHRC, VMEII, and Freecool Familiarity with BAS integration and controls Previous OCONUS or government contract service experience Compensation And Benefits This is a salaried position with per diem provided on top of base salary for travel assignments. The benefits package includes health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, a 401(k) plan with company match, paid vacation and holidays, and ongoing factory training on Multistack systems and BAS integration. A company cell phone, laptop, and corporate credit card will be provided.
