Job Summary/Description:

WFSB is looking for a Multimedia Sales Manager to work with a team of local Media Executives to achieve sales revenue goals and build/maintain client relationships. The candidate must be a competitive and creative leader with the ability to create a winning culture. Digital Sales and Traditional Media experience required.

We are looking for a Multimedia Local Sales Manager who will work with our local sales team to achieve sales revenue goals as well as build and maintain client relationships utilizing our multi-platform advertising solutions. The Multimedia Local Sales Manager will lead, coach, and mentor a strong local sales team and help local and regional businesses grow with digital and broadcast strategies.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

* Collaborate with the management team to accomplish station objectives
* Motivate the local sales team so that digital and broadcast revenue goals are achieved
* Manage, direct, and train to maximize the performance of the local sales executives and assistants
* Effectively recruit and hire
* Ability to negotiate ratings, rates, and budgets
* Develop new business for the station, utilizing and maximizing all station platforms, including but not limited to broadcast, digital, mobile, and sponsorships
* Maintain professional working relationships with our clients
* Interface with operational systems such as Wide Orbit, Matrix, Research Analytics, etc.
* Oversee accounts receivable and credit policies
* Assist in the development of pricing and packaging to fulfill the needs of both client and station
* Assist in the management of inventory
* Accurately forecast sales revenue for your team

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Digital and Broadcast Advertising Sales
- Minimum 3 years of Sales Management
- A proven leader with the ability to work independently, think ahead, and put into place action items that need to be accomplished
- Promote a positive, result-oriented culture that is passionate about the media landscape and helping local Media Executives and Clients be successful
- Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Strong organizational, written, and presentation skills
- Competitive, energetic, and a self-starter
- Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Must possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record, MVR check required at hire, and monitored continuously
