Our corporate office is in Indianapolis, IN, and this is a predominantly remote position, but we are ideally looking for local candidates that can work onsite twice per month.

JOB SUMMARY

The Multimedia & Front-End Developer (MFED II) contributes to the design, development, and evolution of interactive learning applications and systems. This role partners with other product teams and subject matter experts to build scalable, data-driven learning experiences across web and immersive platforms.

  • Modern JavaScript (ES6+)
  • React (with modern tooling such as Vite)
  • State management patterns and component architecture
  • API integration (REST)
  • Proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts
  • Build tools, linting, and modern dev workflows
  • Ability to effectively leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve code quality, validate logic, and increase development efficiency while maintaining strong engineering judgment
  • Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
  • Ability to write straightforward, clean, and commented code
  • Understanding of cross-browser and mobile compatibility

Experience:

  • 4+ years of JavaScript, React, HTML5 & CSS development
  • Experience and aptitude for developing web-based training using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and/or other appropriate programming languages and tools
  • Experience utilizing and managing relational databases (MySQL, SQL Server)
  • Strong experience developing, programming, and supporting content for learning management systems
  • Ability to implement 3rd party APIs for LMS (Learning Management Systems) referencing LMS documentation
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Experience with C# is a plus

Education and Certification:

  • Bachelor's degree or any combination of equivalent certifications, experience and/or education in Computer Science, Software Development, or a related field
  • 4+ years of work experience in a related web development position

Salary ranges $70,000-$90,000 annually DOE
