The Mass General Brigham Development Office is seeking a highly organized and creative Development Officer to join its Multimedia team. This role combines production coordination, project management, and multimedia content development to help bring compelling donor stories to life across video and digital platforms. Reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing, Communications and Strategy, this position provides a unique opportunity to build experience in multimedia production and storytelling while advancing the philanthropic mission of MGB.
The Development Officer will support the planning and execution of multimedia projects from concept through completion, coordinating schedules, budgets, workflows, and production logistics while assisting with video editing and content development. Working closely with members of the Multimedia team, the successful candidate will help ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and with exceptional quality. Candidates should have experience with editing video content for various audiences and platforms.


Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in multimedia production, communications, marketing, or a related field required and 2-3 years of related experience. In addition, the ideal candidate will possess the following skills, abilities and competencies:

  • Experience in multimedia production and video editing across web, social, and event platforms.
  • Organizational, time-management, and project management skills, adept at juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work on site at the Massachusetts General Hospital, Brigham and Women's Hospital, and MGB affiliated properties, or on location, as needed for filming and production needs.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders, external partners, and vendors.
  • Analytical mindset with experience tracking metrics and using data to inform strategy and improve outcomes.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of video, audio, and digital production tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Premiere, web CMS, analytics platforms)
  • Positive attitude, adaptability, and enthusiasm for advancing the mission of Mass General Brigham through transformative multimedia storytelling.

The target salary range for this position is $62,000 - $68,000. Final offers will be based on the candidate's experience and internal equity.
