Compensation Job Summary

Purple is seeking a Multimedia Designer with 5 + years of experience to work on digital marketing campaigns for the brand. This role sits on the marketing department’s brand creative team, and reports to the Art Director. As the team’s multimedia designer, you will primarily work on digital projects from early brainstorming to final asset delivery across channels such as email, social, paid media, and more. You will collaborate with team and cross-functional partners such as copywriters, web designers, and marketing stakeholders.

  • You are detail-oriented, self-motivated, and organized, with a portfolio of compelling, solution-driven design.
  • You understand the importance of storytelling through creative and building a brand through design.
  • We want someone who brings not only strong layout, color, and typography skills, but also motion graphics experience.
  • Partner with creative, marketing, product, wholesale and other cross-functional teams to create best-in-class digital assets for the brand
  • Design impactful and engaging marketing stories across brand channels: site, email, social, paid media, etc.
  • Collaborate with teammates and cross-functional partners to bring campaigns to life
  • Foster and elevate the brand aesthetic across all touchpoints
  • Maintain a high level of communication within creative and cross-functional partners
  • Contribute to cross-functional brainstorms
  • Consistently meet project deadlines and proactively communicate project blockers
  • Meet with creative team, stakeholders, vendors and project managers to review and discuss briefs, deliverables, and work
  • Stay current with industry and design trends, and best practices across ecommerce, retail, and digital design
  • Understand the need to pivot and react quickly when business needs change
  • Review all final assets for quality check and ensure they meet brand standards, and brief and spec requirements
