Job description

The Multimedia Operations Department at TelevisaUnivision is looking for a Multimedia Producer to join our team! This position will be reporting to the Director of Multimedia Productions and will oversee production of multimedia content and operational needs of live shows from News, Promotions and Special Events. This person should be passionate about serving local communities and creating high-quality content across broadcast, digital, social, and live-event platforms.
ABOUT YOU:
You are an experienced producer tasked with high-level support for production, post-production and delivery of multimedia assets including but not limited to:
  • commercial spots for TV, Radio, Digital and Social platforms.
  • Video and audio production, editing, and delivery
  • Multimedia graphics for News, Community and On-Air programs.
  • Branding content for live shows including on-site events and virtual presentations.
  • Studio, field, virtual, and live-streaming productions

You are proactive, organized, collaborative, and able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced production environment.
This is a hands-on position that requires the ability to produce and take lead. You can confidently present creative ideas, provide constructive feedback and maximize the usage of multimedia tools and resources.
YOUR DAY-DAY:
  • Lead the creative and operational execution of multimedia projects from initial concept through final delivery.
  • Develop and produce graphics packages, motion graphics, promotional content, branded assets, and live-show elements.
  • Create a customer service environment and execute all production needs with maximum coordination control and flawless productions.
  • Evaluate and work closely with Director of Operations on workflow processes and standard operating procedures to meet project needs while keeping quality control in place.
  • Collaborate with Project Management and Enterprise Operations teams on the successful execution of Local Media station group projects and TelevisaUnivision corporate initiatives.
  • Special events; lead in the creation and delivery of multimedia content for signature events throughout the year by creating presentations, developing rundowns, designing graphics and editing videos.

YOU HAVE:
  • Bachelor's degree in Television Production, Communications, Graphic Design, Digital Media, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in multimedia, broadcast, graphics, digital, or live-event production.
  • Proficiency in written and oral Spanish and English.
  • Exceptional organization, great people and critical thinking skills.
  • Capable storyteller, good at conveying ideas into presentations.
  • Technology-savvy capable of utilizing and adapting to modern production tools.
  • Experience with some or all of these technologies: Adobe Creative Cloud, Live Graphics software, News Gathering tools, Live Production Automation and Project Management tools.
  • Live production experience with different types of broadcast media (video, audio, and graphics) preferred.

Advanced knowledge in the following technologies:
  • Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and Audition
  • Strong knowledge of Cinema 4D, Unreal Engine, virtual production, or other 3D design and animation tools
  • Professional cameras, including Canon, Panasonic, or Sony systems
  • Studio and field lighting, audio recording, and production equipment
  • Green-screen, virtual-set, and studio production environments
  • Vizrt, Ross XPression, ProPresenter, or similar live-graphics platforms
  • Broadcast graphics, real-time rendering, data-driven graphics, or newsroom workflows
  • StreamYard, OBS, vMix, or similar live-streaming tools
  • vCreative, Smartsheet, or other project and workflow management platforms
  • Web design, user-experience design, or other visual-development platforms is a plus
  • Ability to drive, stand, walk and sit for up to 8 hours.
  • Ability to travel within continental US.
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to Lift 50lbs

  • Must have a valid Driver's license, proof of insurance, and a clean driving record.
  • Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
  • Must be willing to work from office at any of TelevisaUnivision's O&O stations.
