SAIC's Core Creative Multimedia Production is currently seeking a highly motivated Graphic Designer to join our team and provide support to an up-tempo, creative environment for an Intelligence Community (IC) customer located in McLean, VA. As a Graphic Designer, you will work in a dynamic production environment and assist with defining customer requirements, developing solutions, and creating innovative production concepts. POSITIONS ARE CONTINGENT PENDING CONTRACT AWARD
Travel: Required for this role.
Your responsibilities will include the following:
  • Drawing on diverse perspectives to solve design problems and drive effective solutions.
  • Translating ideas into compelling visuals.
  • Collaborating closely with others and applying feedback to improve and evolve work.
  • Working collaboratively to build relationships and accomplish tasks through formal and informal channels.
  • Provide tailored communication products for different stakeholders (e.g. senior leadership, operational and technical partners, and oversight staffs) as directed by the customer.
  • Work closely with senior management and Front Office personnel to support graphics creation for the Mission Center
  • Occasionally provide quick reaction for production of graphics needed to meet Front Office deadlines.
  • Primarily develop graphics that can be customized for logos, briefings, and other media.

Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and fifteen (15) years or more of related experience; Masters and thirteen (13) years or more experience; PhD or JD and ten (10) years or more experience.
  • Be able to travel.
  • Significant experience in Adobe Creative Suite:
    • Adobe Illustrator (charting and vector illustrations)
    • Photoshop (photo editing and composition for covers)
    • Adobe Acrobat Pro
  • Strong creative portfolio demonstrating good use of typography, grid-based design, white space, and color theory.
  • Experience conceptualizing, designing, and creating highly effective graphics.
  • Excellent visual design skills and methodologies.
  • Must be up to date with the latest design trends, techniques, and technologies.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
