Job description

Multimedia Content Creator
Location: Hybrid - Indianapolis, IN
Department: Marketing
Reports to: Director of Marketing
Employment Type: Full-time
About the Role
The Multimedia Content Creator is a key part of the creative team behind how Dr. Tavel comes to life on screens. Part filmmaker, part editor, part photographer, part visual artist, this role is responsible for capturing the moments, people, and ideas that define our brand. You'll work across a wide range of content formats, from doctor testimonials and corporate features to online video spots and social-first video, bringing the same craft and intention to every frame. This role will collaborate closely with Marketing department team members, including the Brand Visualist and Social amp; Brand Activation Manager.
We’re looking for someone who is:
  • Story-driven. Sees narrative in everything and knows how to structure it so an audience feels it.
  • Adaptable. Shifts tone and format effortlessly. From a heartfelt doctor feature to a punch 15-second ad.
  • Technically fluent. Moves comfortably from camera to editing suite to motion graphics without missing a beat. Exploratory enough to push the boundaries of what an optical brand can look like.
  • Forward looking. Embraces technology and AI tools. Not as a shortcut, but as a new creative medium to explore and master.
What You’ll Do
  • Edit video for broadcast television, online video, digital advertising, and social platforms with a strong sense of pacing, tone, and narrative structure.
  • Leverage AI video and image generation tools to scale content production, accelerate ideation, and experiment with emerging formats.
  • Design and animate branded motion graphics, including lower thirds, title sequences, transitions, and social templates, that reinforce our visual identity.
  • Film and produce original and high-quality content across our clinic locations, including (but not limited to) doctor testimonials, brand stories, online video, and behind-the-scenes features.
  • Capture photography for lifestyle, team, and product use across web, social, in-store, and print channels.
  • Support corporate content needs including internal communications, recruiting materials, and leadership features.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing leadership and team to ensure all content is on-brand, on-brief, and on-time.
What We’re Looking For
  • 5+ years of experience in video production, content creation, or a related multimedia content creation roles.
  • A portfolio demonstrating storytelling across multiple formats including short-form social, longer-form video, photography, motion graphics and generative AI video.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Lightroom (or equivalents).
  • Hands-on experience with AI video and image generation tools such as Runway, Sora, Seeddance, Higgsfield, Eleven Labs or similar. Curiosity and adaptability matter as much as mastery.
  • Strong understanding of platform-specific content requirements, including aspect ratios, specs, and storytelling conventions for TV, digital, and social.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail and a commitment to deadlines.
  • A collaborative spirit. You take direction well and bring your own creative instincts to every brief.
Why you’ll love this role
At Dr. Tavel, your work won't sit in a folder. It'll run across all kinds of screens and show up in the communities we serve across Indiana. You'll have the ability to bring real stories to life, the tools to do it at a high level, and a team that believes great content is worth the effort.
