Job description

Tell Stories That Change Lives.

At the Y in Central Maryland, every day is filled with moments that inspire hope, strengthen communities, and transform lives. We're looking for a creative storyteller who can capture those moments and share them with the world.

As our Creative Content Producer, you'll create compelling video, photography, and digital content that brings our mission to life. You'll travel throughout our communities, uncover authentic stories, produce engaging content for social media, marketing, fundraising, recruitment, and internal communications, and help shape how people experience the Y.

This is more than a content creation role. It's an opportunity to build our in-house creative storytelling function and influence how thousands of members, associates, volunteers, and donors connect with our mission.

What You'll Do
  • Capture inspiring stories through video, photography, and digital media.

  • Produce content for social media, marketing campaigns, fundraising, recruitment, and internal communications.

  • Collaborate with leaders across the organization to tell stories that highlight community impact.

  • Manage projects from concept to final production using your creativity, technical expertise, and strategic thinking.

  • Help grow and evolve the Y's creative storytelling strategy.

What You'll Bring
  • Experience in videography, editing, photography, and multimedia storytelling.

  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud and professional production equipment.

  • A creative mindset with exceptional storytelling and relationship-building skills.

  • The ability to manage multiple projects while delivering high-quality work.

  • A passion for using creativity to make a meaningful difference.

What Youโ€™ll Need
  • 4-6 years of professional experience in video production, editing, content creation, or multimedia storytelling.

  • Demonstrated experience shooting and editing professional-quality video content.

  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Premiere Pro and After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator.

  • Strong portfolio showcasing storytelling, videography, editing, and content production capabilities.

  • Experience managing projects independently from concept through completion.

  • Excellent communication, interviewing, and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to work both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced environment.

Why You'll Love Working Here

Every video you produce, every story you tell, and every moment you capture has the power to inspire someone to join, give, volunteer, or believe in the work of the Y. If you're passionate about creating content with purpose and want your creativity to make a lasting impact, we'd love to meet you.
