This role works closely with the Superintendent and Project Management team to coordinate subcontractors, maintain schedules, support quality control efforts, and ensure projects are executed safely and efficiently.

  • Monitor project progress and communicate schedule impacts or field concerns to project leadership.
  • Help coordinate inspections, punch lists, quality control efforts, and project closeout activities.
  • Review drawings and specifications to support field execution and identify coordination issues before impacting production.
  • Assist with maintaining a safe jobsite and enforcing OSHA and project safety requirements.
  • Coordinate material deliveries and support staging activities for efficient site operations.
  • Participate in subcontractor meetings, daily huddles, and project coordination meetings.
  • Maintain daily reports, site documentation, progress photos, and field logs.
  • Support turnover activities and ensure completed work aligns with project quality standards.
  • Work collaboratively with Project Managers and ownership teams to maintain project objectives. Multifamily and affordable housing delivery are core project types within the referenced portfolio.

Qualifications
  • 3–7+ years of experience in construction, preferably as an Assistant Superintendent, Field Engineer, Lead Foreman, or similar field leadership role.

  • Experience with podium, wrap, wood-frame, affordable housing, or mixed-use developments preferred.
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with construction software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, or similar tools preferred.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting urban infill, occupied renovation, or affordable housing projects.
  • Exposure to preconstruction coordination, constructability reviews, and schedule planning.
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is a plus.
