Job description

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee operations across multiple casual-dining restaurant locations within an assigned district. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring direct involvement in daily operations, staff management, and guest experience. You will serve as the operational lead across assigned district locations, implementing standards and driving performance.
Key Responsibilities
  • Multi-Location District Oversight: Travel within your assigned district between restaurants to ensure operational consistency, staff performance, and brand standards
  • Hands-On Operations: Actively participate in daily operations-including floor supervision, kitchen oversight, training, and problem-solving
  • P&L Management: Manage budgets, labor costs, food costs, and profitability targets for assigned locations
  • Staff Leadership & Development: Recruit, train, evaluate, and develop restaurant management and hourly teams
  • Guest Experience: Ensure superior guest satisfaction through service standards, complaint resolution, and quality assurance
  • Compliance & Safety: Maintain adherence to health, safety, labor, and operational standards; conduct inspections and audits
  • Inventory & Food Cost Control: Oversee inventory management, vendor relationships, and food cost optimization
  • Reporting & Communication: Provide regular performance updates and communicate operational challenges to senior leadership
  • Brand Standards: Execute corporate policies, promotions, and initiatives consistently across locations

Required Qualifications
  • 3-5+ years of restaurant management experience (preferably multi-unit)
  • Proven track record managing P&L and achieving financial targets
  • Strong leadership and staff development skills
  • Ability to travel 20-30% (occasional overnight stays; not frequent)
  • Hands-on, operations-focused management style
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Food service health/safety knowledge (ServSafe or equivalent preferred)
  • Proficiency with restaurant POS systems and management software

Salary: $60,000 - $65,000 annually, plus performance bonus opportunity
