Job description

Multi-Unit Operator – Swan Group Restaurants (Culver’s)

Locations: Marion, Muncie, Westfield, Indianapolis (21st St), and McCordsville, IN

We are looking for a high-caliber, long-term Operator who is ready to grow with our organization and potentially become a business partner in their own Culver’s restaurant down the road. (Not required, but available to those who are willing to work for it!)

This is not a standard multi-unit manager role. We want someone who is truly exceptional at developing people, gives constant constructive feedback(this is a requirement, please do not apply if you are unable to do this), builds strong leaders, and is deeply committed to the success of the entire team and the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop multiple restaurant leadership teams that collectively manage 65–75 team members
  • Oversee daily operations across locations with a relentless focus on cleanliness, food quality, and genuine hospitality
  • Own the full P&L: labor, food costs, inventory, scheduling, maintenance, and financial performance
  • Build a culture of continuous improvement where feedback flows freely at every level
  • Recruit, hire, train, develop, and retain high-potential leaders who can grow into General Managers and beyond
  • Act as a true partner to ownership, thinking and operating like an owner every single day

What We’re Looking For (The Specific Person)

  • 2+ years of successful multi-unit experience
  • 5+ years of strong General Manager experience (QSR or fast-casual preferred)
  • An exceptional developer of people, someone who naturally gives tons of feedback, coaches daily, and takes pride in seeing others grow
  • A self-motivated, results-driven leader with strong financial acumen and the ability to improve performance consistently
  • Deep dedication to long-term growth with the company and genuine interest in future ownership/partnership opportunities
  • Excellent communicator who builds positive, high-performing cultures
  • Willing and able to work nights, weekends, and holidays when needed

If you’re the type of leader who loves developing talent, holds people to high standards, and wants to be part of something bigger than just managing restaurants, we want to talk to you.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $80,000 – $100,000 annually (based on experience and proven results)
  • Performance bonus potential (details discussed in interview), guaranteed first year.
  • Health insurance
  • 2 weeks paid vacation in the first year
  • Clear, accelerated growth path including future ownership/partnership opportunities for the right person

This role is ideal for a driven leader who wants more than just a paycheck, someone who is ready to invest in a long-term career with real equity potential.

In 1984, Craig and Lea Culver, along with Craig’s parents George and Ruth, opened the very first Culver's in the family’s beloved hometown of Sauk City, Wisconsin, and began serving ButterBurgers® and Frozen Custard.
Craveable as our signature combination is, the Culver family knew right away that although the business is centered around the food, it is really about the people. While folks can vividly recall the first time they bit into a ButterBurger or tasted a scoop of rich, creamy Fresh Frozen Custard, it’s our way of welcoming guests that truly makes Culver’s delicious.
