We are seeking a dedicated and experienced **Unit Manager** to work within one of our partnered long-term care facilities. This position plays a critical role in ensuring quality resident care and strong nursing leadership on the unit level. Position Summary The Unit Manager is responsible for overseeing clinical operations on their assigned unit, supporting nursing staff, and ensuring compliance with care standards and regulations. This role requires a hands-on leader who can coordinate daily nursing functions while maintaining excellent communication with staff, residents, and families. Core Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate all nursing care provided on the assigned unit. Ensure proper documentation, medication administration, and adherence to care plans. Assist with staff scheduling, training, and performance feedback. Support and mentor RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and medication aides to promote high-quality care. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members. Participate in audits, incident reviews, and quality improvement efforts. Promote a safe, respectful, and caring environment for residents and staff. Qualifications  Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license in the state of NC Minimum of 1 year of proven experience in long-term care nursing, supervisory  management role. Strong understanding of long-term care regulations, documentation standards, and quality metrics. Leadership skills and the ability to guide and motivate a team. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities. A commitment to providing prolific care - one shift, one contract at a time.
