Associate Asset Protection Manager

You will be:

The Associate Asset Protection Manager is responsible for driving inventory shortage performance and executing the Asset Protection strategy for their store.

This role ensures compliance with all company policies and applicable local, provincial, and federal laws during internal and external theft investigations or inquiries. The Associate Asset Protection Manager collaborates closely with store leadership, customer service, and associate teams to ensure that objectives are clearly communicated and effectively executed.

What you will do:

  • Support the Store Asset Protection Manager in executing the overall Asset Protection strategy and day-to-day operations.
  • Oversee and ensure the integrity of physical inventory by monitoring daily and monthly reports, audits, and internal investigations in collaboration with Asset Protection Investigators.
  • Consistently communicate with Store Leadership, Managers, and Associates to drive awareness of inventory shortage results, identify concerns, and implement strategic initiatives, including external investigations.
  • In partnership with Asset Protection leadership and with approval from the store senior leadership team, hire, develop, and performance-manage Asset Protection Investigators.
  • Provide final oversight for audit execution and ensure the store is prepared for internal and external audits.
  • Collaborate with sales support and store teams to ensure shortage control processes are followed and maintained effectively.
  • Work cross-functionally with customer and associate teams to ensure all Asset Protection objectives are clearly communicated and executed.

  • Minimum of 3 years of retail Asset Protection experience; luxury retail environment preferred.
  • A college degree is preferred, but equivalent work experience will be considered.
  • Knowledge of asset protection, loss prevention, and investigative procedures.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and implement strategies to reduce loss.
  • Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving capabilities.
