Job description

Adecco is recruiting for a Screw Machine Operator for a client in Syracuse, NY. This position is temp-to-hire, paying $21–28/hour DOE.

This role supports production on multi-spindle screw machines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate screw machines and monitor production runs

  • Perform basic adjustments and ensure part quality

  • Use measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers

  • Identify and report machine or quality issues

  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area

Qualifications

  • Previous hands-on machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Multi-spindle screw machine experience such as Davenport or Acme-Gridley is preferred

  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn

  • Basic understanding of measurements and blueprints a plus


Pay Details: $21.00 to $28.00 per hour
