Assistant Site Operations Manager
Pay Rate $55,000.00/yr
BASIC FUNCTION
Pritchard Sports & Entertainment Group is looking for an experienced Assistant Site Operations Manager for our Sports and Entertainment venue, in Memphis, TN. This role will report to the Site Operations Manager and will be responsible for assisting the overseeing of cleaning/janitorial duties and staff.
In this role, you will help manage all housekeeping personnel, including managers, supervisors, leads, general staff, event and post staffing, and contract labor to ensure the cleanliness of the facility and ensure maximum service and quality standards are achieved.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP
The Assistant Site Operations Manager reports to the Site Operations Manager and receives their work assignments and supervision from the same.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES AND OBJECTIVES
  • Plans and coordinates all aspects of the cleaning operations, including daily housekeeping services, event cleaning services and post event (night) cleaning services.
  • Trains, plan, schedules and assigns full and part-time employees.
  • Ensure all supplies, equipment, and labor are available to complete assigned tasks.
  • Assigns Team Leaders to set up equipment before start time and that equipment is properly stored at the end of the shift.
  • Checks in cleaning staff and makes sure staffing meets the required level.
  • Inspects cleaning staff before start time to ensure compliance with appearance standards.
  • Deploys cleaning staff to ensure all event areas open are properly staffed and maintained in clean and safe condition.
  • Directs cleaning staff and responds to the needs of the facility and guests.
  • Constantly walks the facility during the event to inspect that cleaning staff and service meet performance, quality, and safety standards.
  • Checks out the cleaning staff at the end of the shift.
  • Schedules cleaning staff for upcoming events and communicates work schedules.
  • Maintains records for shift including staff deployment forms, sign-in/sign-out forms, equipment allocation, labor reports, time cards, inspection reports, teamwork schedules, and safety reports.
  • Provide employee training and communicate company/client policies.
  • Maintain equipment in good condition.
  • Responsible for human resources concerns during shift which include assisting the Office Assistant and Site Operations Manager with hiring, interviewing, employee evaluations, disciplinary actions, and payroll concerns.
  • Use of general groundskeeping equipment including, but not limited to leaf blowers, brooms, ladders, scrub brushes various type of Industrial machinery, different types of cleaning solvents, and including use of required safety equipment
  • Will attend facility event planning meetings as directed.
  • Report maintenance and safety concerns immediately
  • Reports all accidents and injuries or incidents immediately
  • Also responsible to work 8 events per year at a separate venue
