Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician

Location: Toledo, OH
Pay: $36.43/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Day Shift

Join a Leading Manufacturing Team

We are seeking an experienced Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to perform skilled maintenance, installation, fabrication, troubleshooting, and repair across a manufacturing facility. This role is ideal for a versatile trades professional with experience across multiple mechanical and industrial disciplines.

Responsibilities
  • Install, fabricate, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain plant equipment, structures, systems, and components
  • Perform carpentry work using hand and power tools
  • Perform piping, pipefitting, and plumbing work on plant systems
  • Service and repair fire protection systems
  • Perform sheet metal layout, fabrication, installation, repair, and removal
  • Cut, bend, weld, and form metals, including plate and structural materials
  • Perform general facility renovation and painting work using brush, roller, and spray equipment
  • Repair and maintain a variety of mechanical equipment
  • Rig and move heavy materials and equipment throughout the facility
  • Work with contractors, vendors, and other skilled trades personnel on equipment installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • Monitor and operate equipment associated with plant utilities and powerhouse systems
Qualifications
  • Multi-craft industrial maintenance experience preferred
  • Experience in one or more of the following: mechanical repair, welding, fabrication, pipefitting, plumbing, carpentry, sheet metal, rigging, painting, or facility maintenance
  • Ability to read drawings, specifications, and work instructions
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work Environment
  • Industrial manufacturing facility with heat, noise, dust, and elevated work areas
  • Must be willing to work alternate shifts as needed
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check, drug screening, physical, Functional Capacity Exam, and respirator fit test
