Job description

The Infrastructure I&T Portfolio Manager contributes to the I&T PMO mission by acting as a strategic partner and advisor to global technology infrastructure leaders and teams. They ensure clear, structured and value-oriented visibility of infrastructure initiatives (networks, platforms, cloud, cybersecurity, IT operations) to support decision-making, investment prioritization and alignment with the organization's strategic directions.

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Support the strategic direction of the infrastructure portfolio: Provide decision-makers with an integrated, reliable and up-to-date view of the portfolio of I&T infrastructure initiatives (modernization, resilience, performance, security), in order to inform decisions without substituting for decision-makers.

  • Support strategic alignment and investment value: Analyze and demonstrate the alignment of infrastructure initiatives with corporate priorities (digital transformation, business continuity, cybersecurity, cost optimization), in support of the overall investment plan.

  • Facilitate the steering and allocation of I&T resources: Consolidate capacity-related data (specialized resources, suppliers, technological environments) and support the necessary trade-offs in contexts of high demand and operational constraints.

  • Identify risks and support trade-offs: Highlight critical infrastructure risks (technological obsolescence, capacity, dependencies, cybersecurity, availability) and propose decision-support scenarios to promote resilience and service continuity.

  • Ensure governance, communication, and traceability: Produce a clear, concise executive overview focused on key infrastructure portfolio issues, while ensuring the traceability of decisions, priorities, and changes in a global, distributed environment.

YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

  • Strategic vision for technology infrastructure: The ability to understand architecture, modernization (cloud, hybrid), security, and I&T operations issues, and to translate organizational strategy into concrete portfolio directions.

  • Influential leadership in a complex technological context: The ability to influence technical and executive stakeholders without direct authority, facilitating informed decisions in a multi-system and multi-domain environment.

  • Agility and management of operational complexity: The ability to thrive in a constantly evolving global I&T environment (incidents, changing priorities, critical projects) while maintaining consistency and rigour.

  • Analysis, rigour, and governance of I&T environments: The ability to structure and analyze complex data (capacity, performance, risks, and technological dependencies) to support rigorous portfolio governance.

  • Executive communication and cross-functional collaboration: The ability to demystify complex technical issues and communicate with impact to leaders, architects, operations teams, and business partners.

  • A relevant university degree or a combination of education and experience deemed equivalent in project management is required.

  • At least 10 years in complex project management, including significant experience in I&T infrastructure (networks, cloud, data centres, cybersecurity, IT operations). Experience in a manufacturing environment is considered an asset.

  • Technology project portfolio management, Knowledge of infrastructure environments (cloud, hybrid, on-premises), Traditional, Agile, and hybrid methodologies, tools: Jira, Smartsheet, Power BI (or equivalent).

  • I&T governance, risk management, and service continuity.

  • Strategic analysis and decision support.

  • Must be able to communicate and produce work in both English and French at an advanced level.
