Position Title: Senior Graphic Designer

Position Summary

Atlanta Housing is seeking a visionary and hands-on Graphic Designer to drive the visual and narrative aspects of our brand. This individual will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the visual design. The ideal candidate is a natural creative with exceptional skills in visual design, storytelling, and campaign production, along with the organizational and cross-functional collaboration abilities to bring complex ideas to life seamlessly. This person must demonstrate strong conceptual thinking and the ability to develop big, breakthrough ideas across all mediums. They must have an in-depth knowledge of copy, art direction and design as well as take responsibility and set standards for the overall quality of the creative product. This role will be working on the largest public housing authority’s brand. This role will develop a strong understanding of Atlanta Housing’s creative needs, process, and design priorities, while striving to develop new ways of working and thinking in the digital design space.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Own the end-to-end creative process, from concept to execution, across multiple disciplines including brand, campaigns, and event branding
  • Develop conceptual pitch decks to present and sell ideas and concepts to stakeholders, including executive leadership
  • Craft and oversee the production of campaigns, ensuring alignment with the brand strategy and business objectives
  • Partner with social teams to elevate and innovate across our social media presence
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with public and media relations team and social and digital team to create cohesive, impactful creative deliverables
  • Elevate Atlanta Housing’s brand presence through exceptional storytelling, design, and campaign production
  • Build and manage strong relationships with external agencies to deliver high-quality creative projects
  • Manage multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining the highest quality standards
  • Present concepts, ideas, and campaign plans to executive leadership, articulating creative vision and strategy
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and bring innovative approaches to the creative process
  • Other duties as assigned
Knowledge and skill requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Marketing, Design, Communications) or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of experience in graphic design
  • Proven experience as a graphic designer within an agency
  • Proficiency in visual and brand design, including expertise in tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar platforms
  • Exceptional copywriting and narrative development skills, with the ability to craft compelling brand and campaign stories
  • Deep expertise in campaign production, including video, digital, and print mediums
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Exceptional cross-team collaboration and communication skills, fostering alignment across functions
  • Natural creative with a strong portfolio showcasing work across visual design, video, brand, and copy
Working Conditions

Works in a fast-paced office environment requiring work multi-tasking. May require bending, and prolonged sitting and/or standing. May be required to occasional construction site visits and/or out of office appearances.
