Job Summary:
Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is hiring an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) at Annapolis Junction, Maryland. The role involves providing expert technical assistance for the Information Assurance program, implementing security policies, and coordinating IT security programs and policies.
Responsibilities:
• Provide the government customer expert technical assistance to enable the Information Assurance (IA) program of an organization, system, or enclave.
• Implement and enforce information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies.
• Prepare and maintain security documentation and records.
• Evaluate security solutions for processing classified information.
• Advise configuration management (CM) for information system security software, hardware, and firmware.
• Serve as the approval authority for assigned systems.
• Obtain Certification & Accreditation (C&A) for assigned systems.
• Administer user identification and authentication mechanisms.
• Plan and coordinate IT security programs and policies.
• Interact with Government customers, IT staff, and high-level corporate officers to define and achieve IA objectives.
Qualifications:
Required:
• U.S. citizenship
• TS/SCI clearance and Full Scope Polygraph
• Exceptional integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to abide by MTSI's core values
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Experience as an ISSO
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical discipline
• Compliance with DoDD 8140 IAM Level I requirements
