Job description

The IT Solutions Specialist's primary responsibility is to bridge the gap between our business needs and our technology capabilities. In this role, you will become the lead architect for new technology adoptions, software integrations, and process automations. You will evaluate emerging software and cloud tools, design comprehensive technical solutions, and partner with our outsourced Managed Service Provider (MSP) to bring these systems to life.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Solution Architecture: Design end-to-end technology blueprints for department specific projects, ensuring compatibility with our existing cloud and software architecture.
  • Technology Evaluation: Conduct market research, attend vendor demonstrations, and run Cost-Benefit Analyses (CBA) for new software platforms and SaaS tools.
  • Integration Management: Map data workflows and configure APIs or identity providers (SSO) to ensure diverse software platforms interconnect securely.
  • MSP Technical Direction: Author clear technical specifications and scope-of-work documentation for our outsourced IT vendor, overseeing their engineering teams during deployment.
  • Change Management: Partner with internal teams to create training materials, ensuring employees smoothly adopt new software and tools.

  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in system integration, IT consulting, business analysis, or technical solutions engineering.
  • Technical Breadth: Strong foundational knowledge across multiple domains, including cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), enterprise SaaS (CRMs, ERPs), and data networking.
  • Integration Expertise: Prove experience working with APIs, data translation tools, and modern identity access management (like Okta or Microsoft Entra ID).
  • Communication: Superior ability to listen to non-technical employees, deduce their operational needs, and explain complex tech options in plain language.
  • Certifications Preferred: CompTIA Cloud+, AWS Certified Solutions Architect-Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, or ITIL Foundation.
