GiaCare Inc. is accepting applications from Board-Certified Musculoskeletal (MSK) Radiologists for a future opportunity supporting Evans Army Community Hospital at Fort Carson, Colorado.

This position is being recruited in anticipation of contract award. Qualified candidates will be considered for employment upon contract award.

About the Opportunity

Join a collaborative diagnostic imaging team providing specialized musculoskeletal imaging services to active duty service members, military retirees, and their families. This position offers the opportunity to interpret advanced musculoskeletal imaging studies and perform image-guided procedures while supporting exceptional patient care in a military treatment facility.

Schedule
  • Full-Time
  • Monday-Friday
  • 8 to 10-hour shifts
  • Duty hours between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM
  • 30 or 60-minute unpaid lunch
  • Not to exceed 40 hours per week
  • Separate on-call coverage as identified in the contract
Responsibilities
  • Interpret musculoskeletal radiographs, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and other diagnostic imaging studies
  • Perform image-guided musculoskeletal procedures within granted clinical privileges
  • Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, sports medicine physicians, and primary care providers
  • Communicate significant imaging findings promptly to referring providers
  • Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and quality assurance activities
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation within the electronic medical record
  • Ensure compliance with military treatment facility policies and professional standards
Minimum Qualifications
  • U.S. Citizen
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
  • Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Radiology Residency
  • Current, full, active, unrestricted medical license
  • Minimum 24 months of active diagnostic radiology practice within the past 36 months
  • Documented credentials demonstrating the scope of musculoskeletal interventional practice and current competency in radiological special procedures
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or willing to obtain)
  • Current American Board of Radiology (ABR) or American Osteopathic Board of Radiology (AOBR) certification
  • Diplomates participating in Maintenance of Certification (MOC) must remain current
Preferred Qualifications
  • Fellowship training in Musculoskeletal Radiology
  • Experience performing image-guided musculoskeletal procedures
  • Experience with high-volume orthopedic and sports medicine imaging
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
